A MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER
During this time of fighting an unseen enemy - the viral pandemic - we stand alongside all of you in doing all that we can to prevent further spread of this terrible illness. We met outside for worship throughout most of 2020. During that time, we constructed a new youth education building and remodeled the sanctuary!
We began meeting in the church building for worship on November 1, 2020. Come join us any Sunday at 11:00 and be encouraged as we worship the Lord. Wear your mask and continue to observe social distancing.
Even during this pandemic, our ministry continues through online videos, devotions and interaction with our children and youth through Zoom conferences. In addition, online Bible Studies are available each Wednesday and Thursday for Adults and also one just for the Ladies. Sign up for our weekly church newsletter to stay informed on all church events. Lanier Christian Church has offered aid to our community through Family Promise as well as water and Powerade for our local hospital intensive care workers. As a Christian, continue to encourage each other through calls, texts and cards. Check on your neighbors. Pray for our health care workers. Most importantly, stay faithful in prayer. We will get through this with the Lord's help. I learned a song as a child that carries me through times like this: "He's got the whole world in his hands." Indeed, HE does!
